Went the day after Valentine's day with reservations. It was so wonderful and the owner was the one to give us our food and check in on us. My husband got the ribeye and I got the ravioli. The wine was amazing and we topped the night off with dessert. Highly recommend, we will be going back to try their pizza.

Our girls group had a fabulous time at IL Forno. The food was delicious and the drinks divine! Our waiter/bartender was so helpful and all of his recommendations were “spot on”. We will be back!

Wow, this is the best pizza and tiramisu I have ever tried!. The place, the service, the food is authentic Italian food . This restaurant is pretty much hidden from the street, but hidden restaurants are the best . parking is a little bit difficult to find. Egidio was explaining to us how the food is made here, we are surprised that all the food is fresh!! Malik attended with charismatic and knowledgeable on Italian food. I definitely recommend this restaurant. If you are planning to come after 5 pm to 9 pm, I recommend 100% to call and make a reservation

During my recent visit to Il Forno Nashville, I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service provided by the staff. The waitress was not only friendly and polite but also demonstrated outstanding customer service skills. Both Malik and the owner exhibited a high level of professionalism, ensuring that every aspect of my dining experience was well-managed. You can find more about their offerings on Instagram at @ilfornonashville. The atmosphere of the restaurant contributed significantly to my enjoyment. The background music created a pleasant ambiance, and the organization of the tables was impeccable, further enhanced by the elegant candlelight that added a sophisticated touch. Regarding the facilities, I would like to mention that the restrooms are shared with other restaurants, which is understandable in a bustling area. I appreciated the aesthetic vibes throughout the space, particularly the presence of plants which added a refreshing element to the environment. Additionally, I noted that the establishment features a bar area, and I look forward to sitting there on my next visit. I highly encourage everyone to visit Il Forno Nashville. You won’t be disappointed!

The pizza and drinks here were great. I had no idea what some of the words on the menu meant, but our waitress was very kind to help us pick what we wanted. My wife and I shared a pizza and salad and left satisfied. Great spot!

Truly a hidden gem! As a foodie I love to try new places in Nashville.. there’s so many to choose from, but this will definitely be added to the list of must haves. Me and a few friends came for the happy hour, and decided to stay and dine in.. Food was presented well and authentic, drinks were delicious, serene atmosphere, and the customer service from the hostess to our table was top tier. If you haven’t tried IL Forno, you’re missing one of the best Italian restaurants in Nashville. I’d add 5 more stars if the review allowed it! I will be returning.

We always get a pizza to go from IL Forno every time we visit the brewery particularly for professors and pints. The rustic wood fired style pizza is such a good compliment to a nice beer. Our favorites are the Capricciosa and the Sophia both pack in that crisp slightly burned crust with delicious toppings. We also enjoyed weekend visits for pasta and true Italian dining. The risotto is a must try creamy with just the right toothsome feel to the rice and a nice flavor imparted by the fungi. Fettuccine Verde (it's not green) is a rustic simple dish that will remind you of good Italian home cooking. The wine list is well thought out I'm a fan of their current orange wine selections, they strike a nice balance when eating both pizza and pasta. If you need something lighter the salad options won't disappoint either. There is a small outdoor seating area. I will say it's badly in need of some music softly playing out there to give a little privacy when having a conversation but otherwise it's a charming little patio. Inside makes for a romantic evening meal lit by candles and the glow of the pizza oven.

I loved the atmosphere. It was pretty full but thankfully we have reservations and got in right away. The food was good, some of my gnocchi was bit chewy but overall tasty! Slightly loud but great music is playing haha. I plan to return to try another dish.
